The Central New York Chapter of CLMA represents a diverse clinical laboratory community, from the urban settings of Syracuse, Binghamton and Rochester to the scenic splendor of rural New York. We pride ourselves on the collegiality and professionalism of our members and the organizations they represent.
We are a thriving chapter and are pleased to report a growing membership along with increased participation in chapter level meetings and events. The cornerstone of our attraction to industry professionals is the level of educational programing we offer.
A Message from our President
Welcome to the Central New York chapter of CLMA’s
webpage ! The activities and events of our organization are
posted on this site so that you can learn about, and
participate in our current and future events.
Our chapter is strong. We have many talented
and dedicated members who come together to organize
educational meetings that highlight topics of current and
future interest to all who work in and know the
value of the work done by Laboratorians. In addition,
there is a spirit of collegiality and comraderie that
characterizes all of our meetings and get togethers.
While our primary mission is educational, it is our intent
to become THE organization that everyone who is involved
in the Laboratories of Central New York wants to associate
with and belong to. Sociologists and psychologists who
study the characteristics of successful leaders highlight the
importance of belonging to a group outside of their own workplace for support and the sharing of common
interests. If you are a member already, I encourage you to
be active and involved. If not yet a member, we invite you
to join!
